Michigan rural caucus

Rural Michigan represents 25% of the state’s population. The foundation of American democracy was built on the ideal of the self-sufficient rural citizen. While much has changed in the make up of the United States since then, today rural voters have concerns and issues that are vital to rural communities, like reliable broadband service, education, conservation, and access to healthcare.

LGBT & Allies caucus

The Michigan Democratic LGBT and Allies Caucus represents Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Democrats and their Allies to the Michigan Democratic Party. The Caucus helps the state Party as a whole better hear the needs of the LGBT community, gets more LGBT people involved in the electoral process and get elected to office, and uses the Party's apparatus to better attain full LGBT civil rights in Michigan.

ANISHiNAABek CAUCUS

The purposes of the Anishinaabek Caucus are to promote the interests and concerns of the Anishinaabek people and to elect Anishinaabek Democrats and allies. We will support and encourage Anishinaabek candidates and allies at all levels of government; to recruit, train, support and elect Anishinaabek Democrats.
